Sea Jet Ferry Company

, Athens

I have travelled several times by Seajets between the Greek islands: from Heraklion to Santorini by TeraJet vessel, and from Santorini to Mykonos as well as from Mykonos to Piraeus by Champion Jet2. All trips were quite comfortable. Of course, Champion Jet2 is much better and faster than TeraJet. Also, Champion Jet2 provides free access to the open-air deck. Generally, SeaJet are not as bad as they are talked about, the only drawback is that they never arrive on time. I was prepared well in advance for that, so didn't expect much accuracy from them and it saved me a lot of my nerves. Now just the facts: my trip to Santorini from Heraklion took 2,5 hours longer than it was expected, and approximately 1,5 hour delays were on both routes from Santorini to Mykonos and from Mykonos to Piraeus. This, without doubt, should be considered as dishonest practice. I just don't know why they declare knowingly false timetable, because even with such delays they are still much faster than other carriers and, as I said earlier, provide quite a good service and comfortable seats on board.
